Unique cryptocurrency mining program to empower lower caste youths in India

A non-governmental organization has announced a new cryptocurrency mining program for the youths of rural India.
Additionally, this program aims to bring about positive change in the lives of the country’s most impoverished people. In India, these people constitute a demographic that is made up of members of a particular caste called Dalits’. In the 21st century too, the Dalits are still discriminated against, and they are often subjected to inhuman behavior.
The DICCI or the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is leading the program. Mahabfic, a cryptocurrency-related platform and social entrepreneur Dr. Tausif Malik are collaborating in the project. DICCI and Mahabfic aim to come up with the world’s first and largest Bitcoin Mining Training Program (BMTP) for self-employment.’
According to Shri Milind Kamble, the founder of DICCI, the primary objective of the program is to empower the rural population especially the youth from the farming community to earn income from their hometown or villages, this would create new economic development in these areas.”
Kamble has said,
“The new blockchain technology is the future of technology development and taking the world by storm and bitcoin-cryptocurrency mining is a must for blockchain platform to operate. Hence, we felt the need to offer bitcoin-cryptocurrency mining training program (BMTP) to our youth on a nationwide scale for self-employment.”
India and casteism
India has many facets. On the one hand, India wants to be a global superpower within the next decade or so. While on the other, India’s population, especially in the rural areas, is plagued by blind faith and superstitions. The Dalits form the lowest rung of the Indian caste system, and recent reports have highlighted the plight of Dalits all across the country. They are beaten up for the simplest of reasons and, sometimes, for no fault of theirs. Many dalits have also lost their lives in hate crimes’.
India has a population of over one billion. It is difficult, if not impossible, to change the public perception about Dalits in this country. So, DICCI is trying to use the cryptocurrency asset class to change public opinion about Dalits and also to try and provide them with equal opportunities.
